Who we are

BitProvenance operates this website. For anything in this notice (questions, corrections, or deletion requests), or to request more information or a demo, contact contact@bitprovenance.com.

Community message wall

The community message wall is the only form on this website. If you choose to use it, we collect exactly two things: a pseudonym you pick (up to 32 characters) and a short note (up to 200 characters). No email address, name, or account is requested or required, and we make no attempt to identify who posted a note.

Notes are published immediately and publicly on the home page, and are currently not moderated before they appear. Please don’t include personal information, whether yours or anyone else’s, or confidential business details in a note.

Notes are stored in Google Cloud Firestore, operated by Google LLC as our processor; your browser communicates directly with that service when loading or posting notes. Notes are kept until removed. To request removal of a note, email contact@bitprovenance.com and quote the pseudonym and text.

After you answer or dismiss the wall prompt, a single flag in your browser’s local storage remembers that choice so the prompt doesn’t reappear. The flag identifies nothing and never leaves your device.

Demo scheduling through Calendly

The “Request a demo” links on this site open Calendly, an external scheduling service, in a new tab. Anything you enter there, such as your name, email address, and meeting preferences, is submitted to Calendly, not to this website, and is handled under Calendly’s own privacy policy. We receive the booking details you choose to submit so that we can hold the meeting and follow up on it. We do not embed Calendly or load its scripts on this website.

Please don’t include confidential dataset details or other sensitive business information when booking.

Email contact

If you email us, we process your address and message in order to respond and follow up. We do not use this information for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties for their own use. Ask us to delete a conversation at any time and we will.

Cookies and analytics

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking. Beyond the message-wall prompt flag described above, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate page-view and website-performance statistics. According to Cloudflare, this service uses no cookies and does not collect or use visitor personal data. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process limited technical request data necessary to operate and secure the website.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@bitprovenance.com and we’ll respond promptly. Depending on where you are, you may also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority. For information you submitted to Calendly, you can also exercise your rights with Calendly directly.

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that affects how information about you is handled, we will update the date above and, where the change is material, say so prominently on this page.
